Regina Jordan is an outstanding instructor. All the others in my instruction class seem to look forward to her classes and feel much healthier after her class. Chair Yoga class, with great toning and strengthening. I have brought my friend Flora, who is now a class member because she also felt better. Reggie goes to extremes to make sure safety is a concern so no one should strain or feel discomfort in the exercises. Everyone is included in attention and all questions answered by Reggie.

Regina Jordan is an exceptional teacher. From ballet lessons at age four to the present, Reggie explores newest trends in exercise and movement. Her sequencing prepares you to get the most from your workouts. I've seen so many people go beyond what they thought themselves capable of. Classes are dynamic, focused, and fun. Like every great teacher, Reggie is inspirational. You'll feel the same way, if you're lucky enough to work out with her.

Regina Jordan, A Great Fitness Teacher Regina Jordan (“Reggie”) is a great fitness teacher; in fact, in my experience she is by far the best fitness teacher in New York City (and at 78 years old I’ve experienced a lot of fitness teachers). I’ve been working with Reggie for three years and have benefited greatly from her classes. She works us hard! Many things make Reggie great, starting with her professionalism. Reggie always comes to class well-prepared and on time. Her careful routine works every part of the body and she seamlessly moves through her 60-minute program, with a 5-minute break. Every movement is carefully planned, and Reggie makes sure that those who are physically challenged can do the exercises up to their potential and not beyond. As a professional, Reggie does not spend class time chatting (she saves that for before and after class); she is always focused on the business at hand during the class session. She knows the names of all the participants in her classes – sometimes up to 22 people – and is concerned about each one. As a person and a teacher, Reggie is always pleasant, considerate, respectful and thoughtful. For example, Reggie is aware of how each participant is doing, but never embarrasses anyone. I not only benefit from her classes, I greatly enjoy them too.

As a yoga practitioner, I have never experienced a chair yoga class. Regina's class was fantastic. She offered seated and standing asana to not only address different variations but to keep the body moving in a very natural way while constantly focusing on bone and muscle strength. I find her dedication refreshing in keeping the body safe and following the true essence of Yoga. No sitting around here! This class was tough in a very good way.
